What Makes this Site so Awesome?

The site offers the ability to upload photos from any computer, and display them as albums immediately. No need to make anything, just give the album a name, pick your photos, upload, and done. That's pretty cool.

Features of this site

• Upload photos into an album in seconds. Pick a subject, select a topic, select your photos, name the album, and upload. It's really that simple.
• No need to make anything, subscribe to anything, or purchase anything. Just upload photos to albums.
• Once uploaded, users can change the ordering of photos within an album, and set the order of albums within a topic.
• Users can add descriptions and notes to albums, and select which photo to represent an album.
• Users can add notes to individual photos.
• Comments can be made by anyone. Comments can be offered for the site, for an album, or an individual photo. Only admins can reply and remove comments.
• This site makes use of HTML FlexBox elements. This advanced HTML element allows images to shrink and grow as a user changes screen size without loosing aspect ratios.
• Existing albums made with jAlbum Software can be uploaded and will retain the ordering of photos within albums, as well as any comments for photos.

• Visual Studio 2022, ASP.NET Core (6.x), Server Side Blazor Pages, c#, Boostrap 5.1.0, Javascript and SQL Server/MSSQL Local DB.

This site is hosted using Microsoft IIS, on a computer with Windows 11 located in the Greg's home office.
